English Club 2014 Goals

Each person in this world would has his / her own goals in life and so to our English Club 2014. The club is heartily aiming to produce several outstanding students who might and have potential to score A in exams i.e PT3, SMU, SPM as well as MUET (achieve at least Band 3). This is one of English Club 2014 Goals apart from to enhance English language among SMAI Tambunan students at large.

The club has organised several plans to be observed throughout the year to assist them improving their english language skills include writing, comprehension, speaking and listening. These plans have been outlined by the Club Advisor, Sir Abdul Rashid Ahmad after perusing all prominent schools approaches in their effort of maintaining their excellent records. 

We hope that your prayers i.e the educators and students of SMAI Tambunan will be always with those students to make our noteworthy record in this year of 2014. May Allah swt ease our affairs and plans in achieving this goal. Indeed, we plan and Allah also plans, yet the best planner is Allah swt.

English Week & Festival 2014

 All praises to Allah SWT The Almighty

On 19th of July 2014, English Club 2014 has successfully carried out many activities that encouraged the students to speak in english outside class. The advisor of the club, Sir Abdul Rashid Bin Ahmad has initiated the programme for the club members to show their commitment and participation in organizing activities. It was a successful programme and an obvious circumstance can be seen throughout the programme whereby the students have willingly participated on the activities. 

The objectives of organizing these activities are :

1. To attract the students of SMAN Tambunan to participate in english activities.

2. To provide the students with a language-rich environment

3. To use english purposely outside class.

4. To break down the barriers among the students to speak english in public.

5. To elicit the potential talent of the students in each activity they joined.

6. To enlighten the students with the blessed month of ramadhan and the coming eid fitri.

Among the activities that have been held throughout the english week were :-

-  Reading and Spell-it-right Competition

-  Guess-It-Right Competition

-  Making Ketupat Competition

-  Songket & Selendang Competition

-  Eid Card Competition

It is hoped that many interesting activities will be held in the next year which may attract and encourage the students to use english in their daily life. Lets break down the barriers together!

Opening Remarks

Assalamualaikum w.b.k to everyone.

"Breaking the barriers"

Every single thing in this world has its own name and the very first thing to do is to introduce it to the people, if possible, people around the world.

This blog is created by English Club 2014 as a medium of sharing useful knowledge, exchanging beneficial ideas between the students, sharing helpful yet interesting activities that will be carried out by the club throughout the year.

Apart from that, this blog will as well fulfill one of the proposed plans of the club in which to find a remarkable medium for the students to get and keep in touch with the members of the club notwithstanding where they are.

"Breaking the barriers" is the chosen theme for the club this year to show that the club will try its best to highlight then undertake many helpful and exciting activities that will help the students especially SMAN Tambunan students in acquiring english language.

Thus, we surely need the students commitment as well as their prayers for our club. Lets join us to make all activities a success.
